Daily Herald Endorsement
We are pleased that despite the Daily Herald's history of endorsing incumbents they have endorsed Melissa Creech for the Glen Ellyn Park District Board. This Daily Herald endorsement specifically supports the core ideas of our campaign: fiscal responsibility, responsiveness to the public and transparency in government.
We will work hard to make sure that all three of our candidates, Jay Kinzler, Melissa Creech and Julia Nephew, are elected so we can make the positive changes that the Glen Ellyn Park District needs.

[Melissa] Creech, who gets the credit for the Ackerman Park victory, has proved she can build consensus and focus on facts, not just emotions, of the issues. She is endorsed. She wants the board to operate more transparently, to be more responsive to the community, and to take a hard look at the budget.
